Layer Frame0 does not exist, creating it

Scroll Prev Up Next More
This InDesign processing messages occurs when using the box create variant of minicalendar text framing and background shading if the layer Frame0 does not exist.

If the Frame0 layer does not exist then it will be created and placed below all the other layers.

As mentioned in the corresponding topic, if the relative position of this layer (its z-order) is important, as would be the case if there is a solid color background box somewhere, then you should create a blank layer named Frame0 in your template, and place it in the required position, as shown on the right.

This message is specifically issued during diary generation that uses InDesign, as InDesign does not have any fixed non-deletable layers (it does have a default layer, but it can be deleted).
