Locked Objects in QuarkXPress and InDesign

Scroll Prev Up Next More
Locked objects, in QuarkXPress or InDesign, are objects that are locked in place, and which cannot be moved. When you click on a locked object, your cursor changes to a small padlock shape.

Although you can select multiple objects and lock them all at once, each object is locked to the page and not to any of the other objects.

You can use the lock all objects property to ask Q++Studio to lock all objects after generating a diary (note that this option is automatically disabled if the break links to master pages option is activated).
