This message occurs to warn you that the interface to QuarkXPress or InDesign is currently limited to scripts containing less than 64K instructions (QuarkXPress 8-2015) or 512K instructions (QuarkXPress 2016-2026) and all versions of InDesign.
➢64K corresponds to 65536, and 128K corresponds to 131072, 256K corresponds to 262144, and 512K corresponds to 524288.
This is an extremely high limit, and despite its use by over a hundred users at over 50 client sites since 1997, the first time the previous limit of 64K instructions (65536 instructions) was encountered in a script was in December 2014, 17 years later.
Solution 1
As a workaround, you can change the execution options, as shown below.

Solution 2
In the extremely unlikely event that this message and limitation appears, as a workaround, you can generate any script in parts, without making any modifications to the script, by the combination of the Generate X pages, starting at Y of the execution options dialog, as shown below.

If this limitation becomes a nuisance please send us your script so that we may suggest ways to optimize the number of instructions.
