Weekend Public Holidays: Public holidays that occur on a Sunday are moved to the following Monday. • Saturday is a half-working day for most of the Sultanate. • Other days that are observed but are not public holidays are: Teachers' Day (September 23rd) and Public Service Day (September 29th). • Brunei International Codes BN and BRN (2 and 3-letter ISO3166 codes) and .bn (ICANN national top-level internet domain). • Other Sources of Information The following specialized websites are also a good source of Brunei information and news: ASI Hot Spots (security-related world events: terrorist threats, political strife, strikes, criminal activity, aviation incidents and health outbreaks), CIA World Factbook (Brunei maps, demographics and economic statistics), and Wikipedia (includes Brunei commemorative dates that are not necessarily public holidays).
