Governing Law: Official public holidays in Vanuatu are regulated by the Public Holidays Act [Cap 114, revised 1988] as amended by the Public Holidays (Amendment) Act 1993, which established Children's Day, and by the Public Holidays (Amendment) Act No.50 of 2005, which established Lini Day, starting in 2006. • Constitution Day and National Unity Day are listed as being on November 29 and October 5, respectively in the Public Holidays Act [Cap 114, revised 1988] and subsequent texts.
