Si tiene cualquiera pregunta sobre estos comentarios, por favor contáctanos.  Governing Law: Official public holidays in the Dominican Republic are governed by the nuevo Código de Trabajo (Ley No. 16-92) in its updated version of 1999, and by the Ley núm. 108 que señala los días festivos y por tanto no laborables en las oficinas públicas y particulares which replaced the law 3933, of September 20, 1954, and by the Ley No. 139-97 mediante la cual los días feriados del calendario que coincidan con los días martes y miércoles, jueves o viernes.  Mid-Week Public Holidays: The moving of some of the fixed-date public holidays, to the nearest Monday, is set out in the law 139-97 of June 19, 1997, which states that public holidays that are neither patriotic, nor religious, in character, shall be moved to the closest Monday if they occur on a weekday. However, these changes are subject to official confirmation near the end of every year, for the following year.  Eves: Although they aren't official public holidays, most people take off the afternoons of Christmas Eve and New Year's Eve.
