Chile Re-Declares Year-End Bank Holiday (Source: Superintendencia de Bancos e Instituciones Financieras-Santiago) - Summary: The recently passed law 19.559 of March 30, 1998, amends the current banking regulations (Ley General de Bancos) by re-introducing an annual year-end bank holiday, "feriado bancario de fin de año", on December 31st.
