Mauritania's President has issued Decree 042-96 bis which declares Monday, April 29, 1996, the day after the El Id Adha (Feast of Sacrifice) public holiday, as a one-off public holiday in Mauritania.
The decree, eventually published in the "Journal numéro : 878- du 15/05/1996 - page 177", thus extends the El Id Adha (Feast of Sacrifice) public holiday for a second day in Mauritania, as often happens for religious public holidays (18-Feb-1996).
