Law 19.588 of October 28, 1998, has canceled the September 11, "Día de la Liberación Nacional" public holiday.
In compensation, it amends the single article of Law 18.026 (Sustitúyese el artículo único de la ley Nº 18.026, por el siguiente) by declaring the first Monday in September as a new public holiday to be called "Día de la Unidad Nacional".
