Unions in the Australian State of New South Wales (NSW) have asked the Carr government to declare Friday, December 31, 1999, as a one-off, Millenium public holiday.
The arguments are based on the announcement by the UK government that it planned to declare Friday, December 31, 1999, as a one-off, Millenium public holiday (03-Jun-1998).
