Zimbabwe's President, Robert Mugabe, declared Monday, July 5, 1999, as a one-off public holiday to honor Joshua Nkomo, Zimbabwe's vice president, who died yesterday.
President Mugabe also declared five days of national mourning with all flags lowered to half-staff.
