The Government of Rwanda has published the "Loi No. 51/2001 Du 30 Decembre 2001 Portant Code Du Travail, 2001" which legislates the list of Rwandan non-working public holidays, their date, and how many days each one lasts.
The aforementioned decree abrogates the decree which had hitherto regulated Rwandan non-working public holidays, the "Arrêté présidentiel no 07/01 du 6 mars 1996 déterminant les jours fériés" (07-Mar-1996).

Rwanda Amends Public Holidays Legislation
