At its meeting of last Friday, September 27, 2002, the Cabinet of the Government of Mauritius has approved the official list of public holidays in Mauritius for the upcoming calendar year 2003.
Apart from confirming the dates of the Hindu and Muslim public holidays of Mauritius, the announcement also confirms the new public holidays introduced last year (26-Jul-2001), after a near-miss the year before (28-Jul-2000).
