A few hours after Kim Collins won a World Championship title in France, family and friends' groups have started to pressure the government to declare a public holiday to commemorate the occasion.
Meanwhile, Deputy Prime Minister, Sam Condor, declared this morning that henceforth, August 25, would be Kim Collins Day, a notable date (but not a public holiday), the highest civilian honor in the federation.
