Referring to the Decree No 2432 "On Id al-Fitr holiday" dated 14 January 1998, the president of Turkmenistan, Saparmyrat Nyyazow, has signed a decree declaring Wednesday, November 26, 2003, as a national public holiday on the occasion of the Id al-Fitr (End of Ramadan) Muslim festival.
