Last Friday night, Bermuda's Finance Minister, Paula Cox, tabled the Public Holidays Amendment Act 2005 in the House of Assembly.
As compared to the last Public Holidays Amendment Act (22-Dec-1999), this bill deals mainly with the conditions under which an employer can open shop on a public holiday or a number of public holidays.
