Honduras' Secretary of Government and Justice, José Cortés, has confirmed that government workers will only observe one of the three upcoming October public holidays, that of October 3rd.
This follows from a decree, earlier this year (24-Feb-2005), which moved, the 2005 observance of the April 14, October 12 and October 21 public holidays, for government workers, to the first 3 days of the week before Easter.
The same was also done, albeit exceptionally, in 2003 (09-Apr-2003).
