Jordan Declares November 10 Public Holiday

Following last night's nearly simultaneous attacks on three United States-registered hotels in the Jordanian capital, Jordan's Prime Minister, Adnan Badran, declared Today a national public holiday, to allow tightened security measures to take hold.

Note that Sunday, November 13, 2005, was recently declared a public holiday (08-Nov-2005).
