Tajikistan's Parliament has passed Law of RT 28.12.2005g. No.146 which amends the 1995 Law Of The Republic Of Tajikistan On Holidays by extending the observance of the annual Navruz public holiday from 3 days to 4 days.
The duration of the Navruz public holidays was set out to be 2 days only in the 1995 Labor Code of Tajikistan, but this was increased to 3 days, beginning in 2003 (08-May-2002).
