The government of Bangladesh is reported to have changed the date of the upcoming Shab e-Barat public holiday from Wednesday, August 29, to Thursday, August 30, 2007.
As such, Thursday, August 30, 2007, now becomes an official non-working public holiday in Bangladesh for the calendar year 2007.
