The Ministério do Planejamento, Orçamento e Gestão (Ministry of Planning, Organization and Management) released decree 740, which was published in the Diário Oficial da União, and which regulates the public holidays taken by federal civil servants and those regional civil servants controlled directly by the federal government.
The list of Feriado Nacionais is: Jan-1, Apr-6, Apr-21, May-1, Sep-7, Oct-12, Nov-2, Nov-15, Dec-25, while the following shall be Ponto Facultativo (optional days off): Feb-19-20-21, Jun-7, Oct-28.
