Yesterday, the State Council of China approved the November 9 draft plan to overhaul the national public holidays system in China.
The proposed overhaul, unveiled last month (09-Nov-2007), will see the cancellation of one Golden Week of public holidays (20-Sep-1999) and the addition of more traditional public holidays.
