El Salvador Declares 3-Day National Mourning

(Posted on Thursday, February 22, 2007)

The government declared three days of mourning, following the grisly killings of Eduardo D'Abuisson and two other little-known Salvadoran politicians.

All three men belonged to El Salvador's ruling party, ARENA, and represented El Salvador at the Central American Parliament, which is based in Guatemala City and has 132 members representing five of the seven central American nations.
