Edmund Delle, the National Chairman of the Convention People’s Party, has described as a must-do his view that September 21, the birthday of the late Osagyefo Kwame Nkrumah, the first President of the Republic of Ghana, be declared an official public holiday.
In a separate interview, Sekou Nkrumah, the son of the late Osagyefo, suggested that Nkrumah’s agenda of Pan-Africanism and self-reliance should rather be the focus and priority than his personality.
