Ireland Not Considering Adding A New Public Holiday "At The Moment"

Although both the Public Service Executive Union and the Irish Congress of Trade Unions are pushing for extra public holidays as part of the current national agreement negotiations.

Minister for labour affairs, Tony Killeen, was quoted, in the Dail last week, as stating that no increase in public holidays was being contemplated "at the moment".
