The Government of Kenya has finally gazetted the new public holiday of Id-ul-Hajj on Wednesday, December 19, 2007.
The government announced that it will be presenting an amendment to the Public Holiday Act to the next parliament so as to make it a permanent public holiday, as announced earlier last month (06-Nov-2007).
