Professor Paul Manasseh Nshuti, Rwanda's minister of public service and labour, issued a statement informing the general public, employers and employees in particular, that Wednesday, August 15, 2007, is a public holiday.
Assumption Day, on August 15, was made an annual public holiday in Rwanda as per Presidential Order No 111/01 of 26 December 2003 determining public holidays.
