Argentina Confirms Moving Of June 20 And August 17 Public Holidays

The Argentine Ministry of the Interior has announced that this year, again, the June 20 and August 17 public holidays would be moved to the 3rd Monday of their respective months.

Therefore, the anniversary of the death of General Belgrano (Paso a la inmortalidad del General Manuel Belgrano) will be celebrated on Monday, June 16, 2008, while the anniversary of the death of General San Martín (Paso a la Inmortalidad del General José de San Martín) will be celebrated on Monday, August 18, 2008.
