The Chamber of Deputies of Argentina has passed a law making November 20 a State public holiday in the National Capital State of Buenos Aires. The law still require Senate approval and Presidential confirmation.
This new state public holiday would be called Día de la Soberanía Nacional and would commemorate the Batalla de la Vuelta de Obligado of 1845.
