The Bangladesh Ministry Of Religious Affairs (MORA) has decided to move the upcoming Buddha Purnima public holiday, originally scheduled for Tuesday, May 20th, to Monday, May 19, 2008, instead.
This is the second time, this year, that Bangladesh changes the date of a public holiday at the last minute. Earlier, in January 2008, the Ashura public holiday had been moved back by one day (14-Jan-2008).
