The Government of Bulgaria confirmed that Wednesday, December 31, 2008, would be a one-off public holiday, in addition to the legally mandated holidays from December 24-28 and January 1st.
As we had reported in January (11-Jan-2008), to compensate, Saturday, December 20, 2008, will be a regular working day.
