The Government of Serbia is organizing a demonstration against Kosovo's independence, later this afternoon. To that end, it has decreed that all schools and educational institutions would be closed for the day, and urged businesses to give the day off to their workers.
Most government services are also expected to be closed for the day, while the nationalized train system has been requisitioned for the day to provide free transportation to people traveling to the demonstration in Belgrade.
