The Cabinet of Ministers of the Ukraine has issued a decree shifting the workdays of Tuesday and Wednesday, April 29 and 30, 2008, to the Saturdays of May 17 and 31, respectively, thereby bridging the gap between the Orthodox Easter and May Day public holidays.
This means that Ukrainians will be on holidays for 9 consecutive days, from Saturday, April 26, to Sunday, May 4, 2008, inclusively.
