The Government of Zambia has declared Thursday, November 6, 2008, a day of national mourning in honour of the late former Prime Minister Elijah Mudenda, who died last Sunday.
This will not be a public holiday, unlike the funeral of President Levy Mwanawasa was on September 3rd of this year (26-Aug-2008).
