Zimbabwe Likely To Declare June 27 Public Holiday

Earlier today, the Zimbabwe electoral commission announced that a run-off election between Zimbabwe's President Robert Mugabe and opposition leader Morgan Tsvangirai will be held on Friday, June 27, 2008.

As is usually the case, we expect the government to declare that date as a one-off public holiday.
