Bahrain's Prime Minister, Shaikh Khalifa bin Salman al Khalifa, has issued a communique indicating that the dates of the upcoming Ashura public holidays would be Tuesday and Wednesday, January 6 and 7, 2009.
Contrary to what happened last year (13-Jan-2008), no additional day in lieu public holidays were announced.
