Brazil 2010 Public Holidays Announced

(Posted on Tuesday, November 10, 2009)

Source: Ministério do Planejamento, Orçamento e Gestão (Brasilia)

The Federal Government of Brazil, through its Ministério do Planejamento, announced the official list of 2010 public holidays in Brazil.

This list confirms the dates of the Easter-related public holidays and otherwise confirms the dates of fixed-date public holidays.

As is usually the case, the one noteworthy point is the Dia do Servidor Público (Civil Servants' Day) which is in theory on the fixed date of October 28, but will again, as it was in 2008 and 2009 (28-Dec-2007 and 12-Nov-2008) be moved to another date (Monday, November 2nd, 2010).
