Cambodia's Prime Minister, Hun Sen, signed today the Royal Government's sub-decree Nº 135, establishing Cambodia's list of official public holidays for 2010.
As per custom (22-Sep-2008 and 03-Aug-2007), the decree stipulates that "[for] any public holidays which overlap with either Saturday or Sunday, the following Monday will be substituted".
The decree, however does not specify what will happen as Labour Day and the Royal Ploughing Ceremony (Pithi Chrat Preah Neanng Korl) public holidays both fall on the weekend of May 1-2, 2010, leading both of these public holidays to give rise to a day in lieu public holiday on Monday, May 3rd, 2010.
