Late last night, the Prime Minister of Cape Verde, José Maria Neves, declared Friday, November 6, 2009, as a one-off public holiday, in view of the growing dengue fever epidemic.
A similar public holiday was declared in 2007, in Paraguay (26-Jan-2007).
