Chad's President, Idriss Deby Itno, has announced that tomorrow, Wednesday, May 13, 2009, would be a national public holiday to celebrate the government's recent victory over Sudanese-based rebels.
As per the official communiqué, "La journée de mercredi sera fériée, chômée et payée au Tchad, pour la tenue d'une "marche nationale contre l'agression soudanaise".
