The president of Suva Retailers Association, Himmat Lodhia, has announced that despite Friday, May 29, 2009, being an official public holiday in Fiji, stores in Fiji's capital, Suva, would be open all day.
This is part of the annual, weeklong, Suva on Sale shopping extravaganza.
Although the Retailers Association statement does not mention tomorrow, it would seem that the same will be true tomorrow (the original date of the public holiday, whose day in lieu is today).
