Jordan's Prime Minister, Nader Dahabi, has announced that the public sector holidays for the upcoming Eid al-Fitr (End of Ramadan), will be observed from Sunday, September 20, to Wednesday, September 23, 2009.
As such, the announcement applies to all ministries, government departments and public institutions. Usually, in Jordan, the End of Ramadan public holidays extend for 3 days for both the public and private sectors, with banks benefiting from a 4th day of public holidays.
