The government of Jordan has confirmed that, in addition to Monday, November 30, 2009, it had also declared Sunday, November 29, 2009, a public holiday.
In principle, the official public holidays in Jordan, for the period of 2007-2011, were specified a few years ago by a government decree (16-Feb-2007), but in practice, there are often last-minute changes to that forecast (10-Sep-2009 and 15-May-2009).
