The government of Lebanon has declared that Monday, June 8, 2009, would be a one-off public holiday, to coincide with the coming parliamentary elections.
As such, as was the case in other instances (23-May-2008 and 22-May-2009), all financial institutions will be closed and no trading or settlement occur on that day.
