Lebanon's Minister of Education and Higher Education, Bahia Hariri, has decreed that Saturday, June 6, 2009, would be a second public holiday on the occasion on the next day's legislative elections.
The day after these elections, Monday, June 8, 2009, was already declared a public holiday last week (29-May-2009).
