The government of Macedonia has declared tomorrow, Friday, November 13, 2009, as a one-off public holiday to enable citizens to participate in that day's National Tree-Planting Campaign.
Since the series of devastating wild fires that raged across the Balkans during the summer of 2007, Macedonia has often declared similar, one-off, tree-planting public holidays (18-Nov-2008 and 12-Mar-2008).
