Late last night, local time, Paraguay's President, Fernando Lugo, issued executive decree 2887 making Thursday, September 10, 2009, a public sector holiday to celebrate Paraguay's football team's qualification for the 2010 World Cup.
As was the case when he declared a half-day warm-up public holiday, last night, (09-Sep-2009), President Lugo's decree 2887 applies to the public sector and to schools.
