Acting Premier of Nevis, Robelto Hector, has announced that the Nevis Island Administration had declared June 1st, 2009, a national day of prayer for protection during the June 1-November 30 hurricane season.
Note that June 1st of this year coincides with the annual public holiday of Pentecost Monday.
