The government of Armenia has declared Monday, July 12, 2010, as a one-off public holiday on account of the Armenian religious festival of Vardavar (Transfiguration of Jesus Christ).
As was done last year (16-Jul-2009), in compensation, Saturday, July 17, 2010, will be a regular working day. Note that this is the second year in a row that Armenia declares a "one-off" public holiday on the Monday following Transfiguration Sunday.
