The Government of Western Australia has gazetted alternative dates to observe the Queen's Birthday public holiday in some parts of Western Australia.
The regions affected are: the Town of Port Hedland, the Shire of Roebourne, the Shire of East Pilbara, and the Shire of East Pilbara. In these regions, Monday, September 27, 2010, will be an ordinary working day and the alternative date will be regarded as the Queen's Birthday public holiday for 2010.
In addition, it was announced that, as per last year's CAF Agreement (15-Jan-2009), Tuesday, April 26, 2011, had been proclaimed a special public holiday, since in 2011 both ANZAC Day and Easter Monday fall on the same date (Government Gazette WA page 2767, 22 June 2010).
